President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that the meeting with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz was one of the most important since the start of the war. Noting that this is already the third meeting this autumn, Zelenskyy emphasized that it was a key moment in the meeting.

"Today is already our third meeting with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz this autumn and probably one of the most important of the entire full-scale war," Zelenskyy said.

The Ukrainian 'peace approach strategy', which includes specific steps to achieve peace, was presented at the meeting. The President emphasized that he believes in the possibility of restoring peace for Ukraine and relies on support from Germany.

Zelenskyy noted: "We can do this in interaction - all our partners. We count on support from Germany."

The President also expressed gratitude to Germany for their assistance, particularly in air defense, defense, and economic support, as well as for supporting the 'peace formula' and hosting peace summits.

Zelenskyy wrote: "Thank you for helping Ukraine so much. Air defense, substantial defense, economic support, our political interaction, support of the peace formula, and working together with us for the effectiveness of the peace summits."

Zelenskyy noted that continuing aid is very important for them next year, and he hopes that the volume of aid will not decrease.

Chancellor Scholz announced a new package of military aid for Ukraine worth 1.4 billion euros, which is planned to be delivered by the end of 2024.
