Zelensky on winter education: expecting proposals for changes due to the energy crisis.
Change in the educational process format in Ukraine
According to TSN.ua: Ukraine is considering the possibility of changing the format of the educational process during the cold season due to the emergency situation in the energy sector. President Volodymyr Zelensky announced the potential for such changes, noting that they are expecting proposals from the Ministry of Education and Science and local authorities regarding the formats of education.
However, it was not clarified whether the new format of education will be blended or remote. There were also no announcements from the Ministry of Education about a shift to remote learning. Volodymyr Zelensky declared an emergency situation with energy in Ukraine, which served as the basis for considering possible changes in the educational process.
Government strategy on education
This initiative is part of a broader government strategy aimed at ensuring the continuity of education in the face of energy challenges. Given the unstable situation, changing the format of education could be an important step in supporting students and educators during the winter period.
It is important that the Ministry of Education and local authorities actively participate in developing solutions to adapt the education system to new conditions.
