Humanitarian Aid Available in Chernihiv Oblast

According to Novyny.live: Families living in Chernihiv Oblast can apply for UNICEF cash assistance until the end of March 2026. This program is open to households with children under 18 who reside within 0–30 kilometers of the Russian border, including those in the Koriukivka community.

How to Access the Support

Eligible families can register for the 'Winter Cash Assistance' initiative. The following locations are covered under this program:

  • Koriukivka city
  • Prybynskyi starosta district
  • Pereliubskyi starosta district
  • Okhramievyskyi starosta district
  • Naumivskyi starosta district
  • Rybynskyi starosta district

Distribution will take place according to the following schedule:

  • March 25–26, 08:00 to 18:00
  • March 27, 08:00 to 15:00
  • March 30, 08:00 to 18:00

The distribution point is located at 70 Shevchenko Street in Koriukivka.

Applicants must prepare the following documents:

  • National passport
  • Tax identification number
  • Children's birth certificates
  • Bank account details (IBAN)

The maximum payout from the Czech NGO 'People in Need Ukraine' can reach up to $4,000. Additionally, the UN Refugee Agency offers financial aid of 10,800 UAH, and the 'Right to Protection' foundation provides 3,600 UAH per family member over three months.

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has extended the identification deadline for internally displaced persons to July 1 of this year, simplifying access to state support. This measure helps conflict-affected families obtain vital assistance during a difficult period.
