The Armed Forces of Ukraine are actively destroying pontoon bridges and engineering equipment of the occupiers on the Seim River, complicating their logistics and movement. At least one pontoon bridge was destroyed with the help of drones. The Institute for the Study of War reports this.

Furthermore, Ukrainian forces have liberated the village of Vyshnivka, which is confirmed by geolocation images and acknowledgment from the Russian Ministry of Defense. The AFU also continues to advance westward along the 38K-030 highway and northeast of Korenovo, despite resistance from Russian troops.

Ukrainian troops are also moving northeast of Sudzha in the wooded area near Russko-Porichne. This is confirmed by geolocation footage and maps published by Russian military bloggers. In addition, the AFU continues to advance to the western outskirts of Russkaya Konopelka east of Sudzha.

Evidence of the success of Ukrainian forces is the capture of a Russian T-90M tank, which is being transported along the Snagost-Lyubimivka road. This demonstrates the efficiency of the AFU and its ability to operate deep within enemy territory, approaching the international border.

Russian military bloggers acknowledge the successes of Ukrainian forces and report attempts by Russian troops to regain lost positions and halt the AFU's advance using artillery and air strikes.

The Ukrainian offensive in the Kursk region is continuing successfully, inflicting significant losses on Russian forces.

It should be noted that on August 12, Oleksandr Syrskyi confirmed the AFU operation in the Kursk region and stated that Ukraine controls an area of 1,000 square kilometers within Russia. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky instructed the SBU, Ministry of Internal Affairs, and other officials to prepare a humanitarian plan for the operation in the Kursk region.

However, during a meeting on the situation in the Kursk region, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that Ukraine invaded the Kursk region of Russia to improve its negotiating position, but Moscow would not hold talks with Kyiv.

Since the beginning of hostilities in the Kursk region, Russia has lost control of 28 settlements. This was reported by the acting Governor of the Kursk region, Alexei Smirnov, during a meeting with Vladimir Putin. According to DeepState analysts, about 44 settlements have been liberated, and the status of another ten settlements remains unknown.

Lieutenant General Andrey Gurulev, a member of the Russian Defense Committee, accused the Russian military of failing to defend the Kursk region. He noted that the Russian military did not prepare in Time and incorrectly constructed defensive structures.
