Ukrainian Armed Forces Operation on the Oleksandrivka Front

According to TSN.ua: The operation conducted by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) along the Oleksandrivka axis is still underway, resulting in the liberation of nine settlements. Seven of these are located in the Dnipropetrovsk region, while the other two are in the Zaporizhzhia region. As part of this campaign, three settlements have already been cleared of enemy forces, allowing Ukraine to regain control over approximately 440 square kilometers of territory.

Russian Military Losses

Since the operation began on January 29, Russian forces have suffered the following losses:

  • 3,676 soldiers, including:
    • 2,653 killed
    • 1,023 wounded
    • 11 taken prisoner
  • Equipment losses:
    • 13 armored combat vehicles
    • 141 trucks and other vehicles
    • 250 artillery systems
    • 153 motorcycles and ATVs
    • 8 tanks
    • 1,283 wing-type unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs)
    • 140 UAV control stations

Victor Tregubov noted that Russian troops are regrouping and preparing for larger-scale offensive actions. This indicates further escalation of the conflict on this front.

The AFU operation on the Oleksandrivka axis highlights the proactive efforts of Ukrainian forces to reclaim occupied territory. The recapture of settlements and the heavy toll on enemy personnel and equipment underscore the strategic significance of this campaign for Ukraine. However, according to Victor Tregubov, the Russian military's preparations for an offensive suggest that the conflict is likely to intensify, requiring close attention from both Ukrainian forces and the international community.
