Ten-year-old pianist Lia decided to transfer her prize money, earned at a competition, to support the Ukrainian Air Force unit. After her latest victory, she donated the money to the 204th Tactical Aviation Brigade, where the Hero of Ukraine Vadym Karaya Voroshylov serves.
«When you lack strength, both moral and physical, you need to remember Lia, as she represents our future - incredibly talented and conscious. It is for this future that we fight,» the post says.
What is known about Karaya
Vadym Voroshylov is a military pilot with the call sign Karaya, considered one of the best fighter pilots in Ukraine. On October 12, 2022, during a combat flight in Vinnytsia region, he shot down five enemy drones and ejected, previously diverting the aircraft away from the populated area, thus preventing potential casualties.For this heroic deed, President Volodymyr Zelensky awarded Karaya the title of Hero of Ukraine, and local residents began to call him the 'Ghost of Vinnytsia' - in analogy to the legendary 'Ghost of Kyiv'.Pianist Lia impresses with her act and generosity, donating her money to support the Ukrainian military, particularly the Hero of Ukraine Vadym Voroshylov, who is considered one of the best pilots in the country.
