Veterans Complete Solar Energy Training Course

According to TSN.ua: In Dnipro, 18 veterans, all former employees of DTEK, have been awarded certificates for completing a specialized solar energy training program. This initiative was carried out by DTEK in partnership with the DTEK Academy and the National Technical University 'Dnipro Polytechnic'. The two-month course provided comprehensive instruction, combining theoretical learning with hands-on practical sessions.

The program has equipped these veterans with new knowledge and skills in the modern energy sector. DTEK has been recognized for having the best veteran support program among companies, highlighting the importance of corporate social responsibility towards former military personnel. This training is particularly relevant as Ukraine seeks to rebuild and modernize its energy infrastructure.

The 'ProVeteran' Initiative

The 'ProVeteran' program is a structured corporate initiative designed to support veterans, reaffirming the company's commitment to aiding its former employees in their professional development after military service. The acquired knowledge and official certificates open up new career opportunities for veterans within the renewable energy field.

DTEK's initiative represents a significant step in addressing veteran employment challenges as they transition back to civilian life. By aligning with global trends in green technology development, this solar energy training not only aids veteran integration into new professions but also contributes to the broader growth of renewable energy in Ukraine.
