Starting from 2026, Ukrainians aged 40+ will receive 2000 hryvnias for health screening through the Diya app.

According to ТСН: From January 1, 2026, a program "Health Screening 40+" will launch in Ukraine, funded by the government through the "Diya" application. This decision has already been approved by the government.

All citizens who reach the age of 40 will be able to undergo a health check funded by the state. It is expected that the program will help identify risks of cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, and psychological issues in a timely manner.

How to receive the money

An invitation to participate in the screening will be sent via "Diya" on the 30th day after reaching the age of 40. After receiving the invitation, you need to confirm your participation. The state will pay 2,000 UAH, which will be credited to the "Diya Card".

If you do not have "Diya", you can get a plastic card with a corresponding account at a partner bank. To do this, you must contact the nearest CNAP. Administrators will help you fill out the application and link the account for receiving the payment.

How to spend the funds

This money can only be used for paying for screenings at medical institutions that participate in the program. These may be state, communal, or private institutions. The list of participants has not yet been published by the National Health Service.

Your place of registration does not matter. You can choose any city or hospital, regardless of your place of residence.

What the screening includes

The program covers three main areas:

• Questioning to assess the risks of cardiovascular diseases, type 2 diabetes, and mental health.

• Laboratory tests to monitor heart, vascular, and kidney function.

• Physical examination, which includes measuring pressure, pulse, weight, height, waist circumference, etc.

We remind you that payments of 1,000 UAH and 6,500 UAH under the "Winter Support" program are also ongoing in Ukraine. These funds must be spent within the established deadlines. For example, the "winter thousand" on the "National Cashback" card must be used by June 30, 2026, and the support issued through "Ukrposhta" – by the end of February 2026.

The "Health Screening 40+" program is an important step towards improving the health of older people in Ukraine. It provides an opportunity to check your condition for free and identify risks that may threaten health, so participation in it is recommended for everyone who has reached this age.
