Nova Poshta and Ukrposhta published their work schedule for Christmas and New Year.
According to ТСН: The largest postal operators in Ukraine, 'Nova Poshta' and 'Ukrposhta', have published their work schedules during Christmas and New Year, indicating which days the branches will operate in regular mode and when there will be reduced hours or holidays.
Work schedule of 'Nova Poshta'
According to the company's information, most branches will operate as usual on festive days:
December 24 and 25 – normal working hours;
December 31 – branches will be open until 5:00 PM;
January 1 – day off: branches and couriers will not work, but postal machines will remain available for receiving packages;
On other days – regular working hours.
The company recommends clients check the specific branch's working schedule in advance, as it may vary depending on the location.
How 'Ukrposhta' will operate
Ukrposhta's General Director Ihor Smiliansky announced that the company also maintains a stable working mode ahead of the holidays.
December 24 and 25 – all branches operate in the usual mode;
December 31 – shortened working day;
January 1 – official day off;
From January 2, the standard client service schedule will resume.
Smiliansky also reminded that December 24 is the last day to submit applications for the 'Winter Support' program. He noted that more than 1.7 million Ukrainians have already taken advantage of this opportunity and urged not to leave the submission of documents to the last moment.
The postal services ask clients to plan the sending and receiving of parcels in advance, considering the holiday schedule changes of the branches.
It was previously reported about the closure of the last service point of 'Nova Poshta' in Sviatohirsk, Donetsk region.
When planning to send or receive parcels during the holidays, it is important for Ukrainians to consider changes in the work of postal operators. During the holiday period, the popularity of postal services increases, so it is better to take care of this in advance. Don’t forget to check the specific working schedule of your branch to avoid any inconveniences.
