Russia struck a hospital in Kyiv: a patient died, elderly women were injured.
According to ТСН: The police and the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine published photos of the aftermath of the Russian attack on a private medical clinic in the Obolon district of Kyiv, which occurred on the night of January 5.
The photographs appeared on the Telegram channels of the police and the Office of the Prosecutor General.
As a result of a Russian drone hitting the medical clinic in Obolon, a fire broke out on the second floor of the building. A 30-year-old patient died, and three people were injured. Two women, aged 97 and 77, were poisoned by smoke and were hospitalized in other medical facilities. Another injured person, a 42-year-old woman, received assistance on the spot.
Investigation of the consequences
Rescue services are working at the site. Prosecutors, investigators from the National Police and the Security Service of Ukraine are documenting traces of Russian aggression. Pre-trial investigations into war crimes have already been initiated.
Attack on the clinic
It is worth recalling that on the night of January 5, Russia launched strikes on Ukraine using ballistic missiles and Shaheds, resulting in damage to a private clinic in the Obolon district of Kyiv. As a result of the attack, a patient died and several people were injured. Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported the evacuation of 70 people. Emergency services and police are working at the scene.
This tragedy underscores the scale of human losses caused by the war and raises concerns about the safety of civilian objects. The ongoing investigation aims to document the crimes committed during the war and hold the perpetrators accountable.
