Enemy Drone Attack Hits Lviv Residential Area
According to TSN.ua: A drone strike struck Lviv's Sykhiv district on March 24, damaging multiple apartment buildings. Despite the devastation, local resident Roksolana and her family survived unharmed—they were at a cemetery at the time, visiting the grave of her brother Nazar. Nazar would have turned 30 on the very day of the attack.
Aftermath and Damage
Explosions echoed across Lviv during the assault. Maksym Kozytskyi, head of the regional military administration, reported that fires broke out in residential buildings on Soborna Square, Brativ Rohatyntsiv Street, and Chervonoyi Kalyny Avenue. In total, 19 buildings and the Bernardine Monastery complex were damaged. The number of casualties from the Russian attack rose to 22 people.
This incident once again highlights the constant danger faced by Lviv's residents and the tragic toll of war, which spares neither soldiers nor civilians. The Sykhiv attack reflects the intensifying conflict and its impact on everyday life in Ukraine, underscoring the urgent need for continued international support and attention to the situation.
