According to ТСН: On the night of December 31, the Russian army once again attacked Odesa. As a result of the shelling, five people were injured. Residential buildings and the city's infrastructure were damaged. In some areas, electricity, water, and heating have been disconnected.

Consequences of the Attack

The head of the Odesa City Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak, reported that part of the city's territory remained without electricity supply. 'Some critical infrastructure facilities are undergoing restoration work, due to which some residents temporarily have no water or heating supply,' he noted.

Among the injured are two adults and three children, the youngest of whom is only seven months old. Also injured are children aged 8 and 14, whose condition is assessed as moderately severe. Meanwhile, a 42-year-old man is in serious condition.

Consequences of the Attack

Russian troops attacked the region at night, launching about 20 Shahed drones from the sea. In Odesa and neighboring Chornomorsk, drones hit apartment buildings, causing fires. In several areas, electricity, water, and heating disappeared. The enemy also hit warehouses of one of the postal operators and destroyed many civilian cars with fire and debris.

In the city administration near the damaged buildings, operational headquarters were created where residents can charge their gadgets, warm up, and drink hot tea.

It was also confirmed that drones hit apartment buildings in Odesa. According to authorities, impacts on residential buildings were recorded in two areas of the city, one of which caught fire. In addition, drones targeted the logistics and energy infrastructure of the region.

This attack has become yet another manifestation of aggression by Russian troops, which continues to cause serious harm to the civilian population. Local authorities are already working on restoring infrastructure and providing assistance to those affected, but the consequences may be felt for a long time. In wartime conditions, such shelling becomes an extremely difficult test for residents of the region, who daily face the consequences of aggression.'
