According to ТСН: An investigation is ongoing in Lviv regarding the death of Territorial Center for Recruitment serviceman Yuriy Bondarenko. The court has elected a preventive measure of 60 days of detention for 30-year-old Hryhoriy Kidruk, who is suspected of murder.
During the court hearing, Kidruk claimed that during the document check he provided all necessary papers and called a lawyer, assuring that he does not remember the moment of the attack on the serviceman.
He also reported that he was sprayed with gas, and thereafter he remembers several people in uniform beating him, and then he found himself at home, trying to wash the tear gas off his face.
“A van arrived, the doors were opened. Immediately I got hit in the face. I was sprayed with a canister. The next thing I remember is that I was being beaten by four or three uniformed personnel. The police did nothing. The next thing I remember is opening the door at home, and then I am trying to wash the tear gas off my face. That is all I remember,” the suspect stated.
Kidruk confirmed that the knife found at the crime scene belongs to him but considers it a 'regular tool.' He also assured that he was not wanted by the Territorial Center for Recruitment.
When asked if he acknowledges that he struck the Territorial Center for Recruitment employee, Kidruk replied that 'apparently, that was the case,' although he 'cannot believe what happened.'
