Center for Countering Disinformation Debunked Fake about the Disappearance of the 152nd Brigade near Pokrovsk.
The Center for Countering Disinformation denies rumors spread by Russian propagandists about the alleged "disappearance" of the 152nd separate ranger brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and its commander during battles on the Pokrovsk direction. This was reported by the CCD in its Telegram.
"Having verified the information with the General Staff, the Center reports that the 152nd brigade continues to perform combat missions, and statements about its alleged "disappearance" are unfounded. Such fakes are spread by Russian propaganda to sow panic among the population, cause distrust of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, demoralize Ukrainian military personnel and their families," the statement said.
The CCD urges to trust only official sources of information and not to spread unverified data.
Previously, Russian propagandists spread messages that Ukrainian military personnel "disappear en masse," and their relatives "cannot get any information" about the fate of their loved ones.
By the way, earlier Ukrainian journalists debunked the information about the possible appointment of Kyrylo Budanov, head of the Main Intelligence Directorate, as the next president of the country with CIA support.
Information is being spread online that allegedly residents of Pokrovsk are organizing protests against the AFU. However, as noted by the head of the Donetsk RMA Vadym Filashkin, this information is a Russian fake.
Earlier it became known that "fake-makers" are massively spreading disinformation that supposedly Ukrainian military received an order from the AFU commander-in-chief to break through to the Kursk NPP and lay explosives there.
