Chinese diplomats and Beijing's secret service tracked the visit of Taiwan's Vice President Hsiao Bi-khim to Prague, Czech Republic. Their plans to carry out a sabotage to hinder the official's activities became known thanks to information from military intelligence agent Jan Pejsek. Representatives of the Chinese embassy studied every step of Hsiao Bi-khim and her meetings in March 2024. Fortunately, the Czech security service thwarted China's plans.
The Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs denies the Czech accusations and accuses it of interfering in its internal affairs due to Hsiao Bi-khim's visit. The great country's fleets are training near Taiwan, declaring it a 'stern warning'. According to Chespik, the U.S. military is preparing for a possible confrontation with China, so allies are becoming more cautious than ever. Chinese President Xi Jinping confidently states that 'reconciliation' with Taiwan is inevitable.
The conflict between China and the Czech Republic amidst the relations between China and Taiwan continues to remind about the tense situation in the region. The prospects of international relations in Asia depend on what actions each side chooses in the future.
