The Ministry of Health explained whether it is safe to get vaccinated through a tattoo on the arm.
Vaccination and Tattoos
According to ТСН: People can have tattoos on their arms in the areas where vaccines are usually administered. This raises the question: is it safe to inject the vaccine into such an area.
Vaccines can be administered both intramuscularly and subcutaneously, even in tattooed areas, as noted by the Ministry of Health.
“However, if there is an alternative - a similar area not covered with drawings - it can be chosen for the sake of tracking post-vaccination reactions, such as swelling and redness,” the agency stated.
We remind you that it is important not to skip vaccinations and to adhere to the vaccination schedule, even in adulthood.
Starting January 1, the National Vaccination Calendar in Ukraine will be updated, which is significant changes for thousands of Ukrainian families. These changes are based on modern scientific data and the experiences of other countries.
The topic of vaccines and tattoos is worth discussing, as not everyone knows how it can affect health. Current changes in the National Vaccination Calendar serve as a reminder of the importance of vaccination for protection against various diseases. They aim to ensure a safe and effective vaccination process in Ukraine.
