Razumkov Poll: War Remains the Main Problem for 68% of Ukrainians.
According to ТСН: Today, the main problem for Ukraine remains the military actions in the war with the Russian Federation — this is the opinion of 68% of respondents.
The results of the survey conducted by the Razumkov Center indicate the three largest threats: bribery in government (45%) and the destruction of housing due to enemy shelling (40%) are also included.
Main Concerns of Society
sociologists found that Ukrainians are particularly worried about the consequences of shelling and economic instability. Among the most significant problems, respondents named:
- destruction of infrastructure - 38%;
- power, water, and communication outages - 30%;
- economic issues, such as low salaries and pensions (29%) and rising prices (27%);
- high utility rates - 25%.
The issues of mobilization and corruption in the courts currently concern 17% of the respondents. The least worries among the residents of the country are the quality of education (5.5%) and the shortage of labor (6%).
What Awaits Each Family? When asked about personal threats to their families in the near future, Ukrainians indicated that they are most anxious about Russian shelling (60%). At the same time, almost half (44%) fear loss or significant reduction of income.
Families also worry about the potential loss of housing (27%), corruption (23%), and the failure to provide adequate medical assistance in case of illness (22%). About 5% of respondents expressed fears of hunger.
How the Research Was Conducted
The survey was conducted from November 11 to 18. Sociologists communicated with people personally in all government-controlled regions. A total of 2008 adult Ukrainians were surveyed. Experts noted that the margin of error does not exceed 2.3%, but the results may have been influenced by mass evacuation and the war.
When asked:
"What compromises in peace negotiations with Russia do you consider acceptable?"40.2% of Ukrainians responded that Ukraine should not temporarily abandon the reclaiming of occupied territories. In 2024, this number increased to 53.2%.
It was also reported that a new survey showed: in France and Germany, a majority of the population supports reducing financial aid to Ukraine, while the USA, Canada, and the United Kingdom advocate for its increase.
These survey results reflect deep worries of Ukrainians and their desire to achieve peace and justice. It is clear that the current challenges, including war and economic difficulties, have significantly impacted societal moods. The next actions of the state and international partners in support of Ukraine could be decisive in addressing these issues.
