Heart Transplant: Patient Repeated Donor's Fate After 13 Years.
According to ТСН: In the USA, a man who received a donor heart died 13 years later in the same way as his savior.
33-year-old Terry Cottle committed suicide after an argument with his wife, who asked him to leave the house. The conflict erupted due to his communication with his ex-wife, which deeply upset his current partner. After the argument, Terry went to the bathroom and shot himself.
He was rushed to the hospital, but died four days later. His heart became a donor for Sonny Graham, who had heart problems. The doctors reported that they found a suitable heart, and it turned out to be Terry Cottle's heart.
Sonny successfully underwent surgery, but his friends noticed significant changes in his behavior: he began to eat hot dogs and drink beer — the donor's favorite foods. Eventually, Sonny fell in love with Terry's widow, Cheryl, and the couple got married.
Tragic Ending
However, the happiness was short-lived: 13 years after the transplant, Sonny also took his own life, shooting himself.
Before this, he sent a chilling message to the pastor: 'Do you remember where you were 13 years ago on this day?'
This story illustrates not only the complexities involved in organ transplantation but also the emotional connections that may arise between donors and recipients. The tragic circumstances surrounding both suicides underscore the importance of mental health and support during difficult times that can occur for any of us. Many people do not realize how serious the consequences of emotional experiences can be even after physical salvation of life. Thus, this story serves as a reminder of the need for psychological assistance after difficult life situations.
