Attempt of illegal departure
The court established that on November 15, 2025, a native of Transcarpathia arrived at the checkpoint 'Rava-Ruska–Hrebenne' in Lviv region.
It is known that the accused, being aware of the existing restrictions on departure for men aged 18 to 60 during martial law, provided an employee of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine with counterfeit documents, namely:
Leave ticket No. 678 dated 14.11.2025.
Extract from order No. 678 dated 14.11.2025.
Military ticket series NUMBER_3 dated 14.07.2024.
These documents were allegedly issued by the 'military unit of the National Guard of Ukraine' and contained false information about the service of the defendant and the leave during which he supposedly planned to travel to Warsaw, Republic of Poland.
Admission of guilt and punishment
The case was considered in a simplified proceedings, as the defendant unconditionally admitted his guilt in the presence of a defender.
The court classified the actions of the man as a criminal offense (Part 4 of Article 358 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). When determining the punishment, the court took into account 'genuine remorse and active assistance in uncovering the offense as circumstances that mitigate punishment. No aggravating circumstances were established.'
The man was found guilty under Part 4 of Article 358 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and was sentenced to a fine of 30 non-taxable minimum incomes of citizens, which amounts to 510 UAH.
