Zelensky met with Kuleba: agreed on new areas of interaction.
According to ТСН: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting with former Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, during which they discussed directions for further cooperation.
The head of state commented on the meeting on social media.
Discussion of the political situation
During the meeting, Zelensky and Kuleba discussed the current political and information situation in Ukraine. The President emphasized the importance of presenting the Ukrainian perspective to the world.
“I’m glad that Dmytro is on the team of Ukraine, and we agreed to define the directions of further interaction. Glory to Ukraine!”
It is worth noting that the Verkhovna Rada dismissed Kuleba from the position of Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine in September 2024.
Personnel changes
On January 5, Zelensky made several more personnel changes:
Sergii Kyslytsia was appointed the first deputy head of the President's Office;
Chrystia Freeland received the position of advisor on economic development;
Vasyl Maliuk left the position of head of the SBU;
Yevhen Khmara was appointed the new head of the SBU.
Zelensky's meeting with Kuleba indicates the continuation of Ukraine's active policy to strengthen international relations, as well as the importance of having established connections between former and current officials during a crisis. The personnel changes that occurred on the same day highlight the presidential team's readiness to adapt and renew in the face of modern challenges.
