Ukrainian military personnel express their dissatisfaction with the poor quality of defensive fortifications and fortification structures near the settlement of Hirnyk in Donetsk region. The military states that some of the fortification structures do not meet safety standards, making them ineffective against enemy offensives. Deficiencies in engineering support can pose a threat both to the safety of the military and the success of defensive operations.

Situation at the Front as of September 28

As of September 28, Russian occupation forces are intensifying their offensive actions in several directions, particularly in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhiv directions. According to military sources, the Russians continue attempting to break through Ukrainian defenses by concentrating forces and equipment on important sections of the front.
