The state of affairs in northern Kharkiv region
The state of affairs in northern Kharkiv region is stable; Russians are trying to launch assaults from all sides - for this, they are using sabotage-reconnaissance groups. The heaviest fighting is ongoing in the Kupiansk direction.
This was stated by the head of the regional administration Oleg Synegubov in a comment to Suspilne.
'The Kupiansk direction remains extremely difficult. From the north of the city (of Kupiansk - ed.) the enemy has attempted to deploy DRG, encircle our defensive positions. There were over 350 shellings of our positions, 16 air bombs, 25 shellings from group artillery fire. Our military is in a very grave situation. The situation in northern Kharkiv region is more stable than in the Kupiansk direction,' - stated Synegubov.
The situation in Kopanky
Regarding the situation in Kopanky, the head of OVA reported that the area of active hostilities is expanding.
'The Russian Federation is trying to advance the defense in various directions. Enemy DRGs are penetrating from different sides. After this, battles occur, and Ukrainian military is doing everything possible to destroy the enemy,' - said Synegubov.
The situation in Kozacha Lopan
The head of Kharkiv OVA also reported attempts by enemy sabotage groups to penetrate into Kozacha Lopan.
'The enemy attempted to advance from various directions; they are pushing through various positions. Our soldiers are tasked with quickly resisting and destroying the enemy upon attempts. Such attempts are constantly occurring in the Derhachi, Zolochiv, and Kharkiv directions, as well as in Lyptsy and Vovchansk,' - explained Synegubov.
