Ostapchuk's widow accused Horyak of blackmailing over disputed house.

According to ТСН: The wife of Ukrainian TV presenter Volodymyr Ostapchuk has once again found herself in the spotlight due to a public conflict with her mother-in-law Kristina Horyak.

Reasons for the conflict

The conflict between the women arose over the house that the showman bought in his second marriage. After their divorce, Volodymyr and Kristina decided to sell the property to share the money. However, Kateryna Poltavska expressed dissatisfaction on her Telegram, claiming that Horyak was allegedly inflating the price, which is why the house has not been sold for a year. As Poltavska emphasized, her husband's ex-wife refuses to lower the price.

'Vova's ex continues to terrorize us and won't let us sell the house at market price. She hasn't invested a single hryvnia in it, and now she won't allow us to split the money 50/50. Vova bought it for 240 thousand dollars and listed it for 200 thousand dollars. It has been on the market for almost a year without a sale. A client has come forward, willing to buy it for 165 thousand dollars. She refuses and says the house can just sit there, not realizing that neighboring houses are selling for the same price,' Poltavska stated.

Blackmail and threats

Kateryna also claimed that Kristina allegedly blackmailed her and her husband, demanding they sign a sales agreement for the house and split the proceeds. In Poltavska's opinion, Horyak threatened to publish an interview portraying Ostapchuk in a negative light.

'Kristina's lawyer obtained a contract signing regarding the house through threats, insisting that Vova give her 50 percent. She threatened that she would go for an interview and talk about abuse by Vova, because 'the woman would be believed'. Apparently, a person only understands the language of threats,' Poltavska said.

It is worth noting that Volodymyr Ostapchuk and Kristina Horyak were married from 2020 to 2022. After their divorce, a conflict arose between them regarding property distribution, including the house that was purchased in 2021 near Kyiv.

This situation has become yet another chapter in the personal life story of well-known Ukrainian celebrities, attracting the attention of tabloids and fans. The drawn-out conflict indicates possible difficulties in communication between the ex-spouses, persisting even after their divorce. It is evident that the division of shared property may turn into a long process for both of them.
