According to TSN.ua: A passenger bus veered off the road on the Lviv-Lutsk highway in the Lviv region, resulting in injuries to three women. The incident occurred in the morning near the village of Derniv.
The injured individuals are:
- A 51-year-old woman from Dnipropetrovsk region,
- A 55-year-old woman from Cherkasy region,
- A 64-year-old woman from Cherkasy region.
According to investigators, the 45-year-old driver from the Drohobych district lost control of the Van Hool bus, causing the crash. This major highway connects western Ukrainian cities and sees significant commercial and passenger traffic.
Criminal proceedings have been initiated under Part 1 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which carries a potential penalty of up to three years of restricted liberty. Authorities are continuing their investigation into the circumstances of the accident.
