Hourly Power Outage Schedules for March 11: Details by Ukrainian Region.
Ukraine's Hourly Power Outage Schedules
According to TSN.ua: Across Ukraine, scheduled hourly power outages will be in effect for all regions on March 11. This measure is a direct response to the severe damage inflicted on the nation's energy infrastructure by recent mass missile and drone attacks from Russian forces. These controlled blackouts are essential to prevent a total grid collapse and to maintain overall system stability amidst a critical shortfall in electricity generation. The ongoing war has made such emergency energy rationing a recurring necessity.
Regional Outage Timetables
The power cut schedule for the city of Kyiv is as follows:
- Groups 5, 17, 19, 29, 41, 53, and 55 - from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM

In the Mykolaiv region, the schedule is set:
- Groups 1.1 and 2.2 - from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM
- Groups 4.2 and 6.1 - from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM

- Groups 3.1, 4.1, and 5.2 - at other times, including overnight hours
Planned outages in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast are scheduled:

In Kirovohrad Oblast, power cuts are planned for queues 2.2, 3.2, and 4.2 at various times, including evening hours. Zhytomyr Oblast's schedule will see queues 1.1 and 1.2 without power from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, while queues 3.1, 3.2, 5.1, and 5.2 face outages at other times.
It is important to note that no power outages are currently planned for the following western oblasts: Ternopil, Ivano-Frankivsk, Zakarpattia, Volyn, Lviv, and Rivne. For residents of these regions, this offers a significant respite from the disruptions affecting daily life elsewhere in the country.
Consequently, Ukrainians should prepare for potential inconveniences due to these rolling blackouts, which will be active nationwide on March 11.
Implementing scheduled hourly blackouts is a crucial step for preserving the country's energy stability during wartime.
These measures underscore the persistent threat to critical infrastructure, requiring public adaptability and readiness for sudden changes in daily routines. Meanwhile, the exemption for several western oblasts provides a degree of normalcy for their residents, which is a vital psychological and practical support under the strain of war.
