According to TSN.ua: Iran has formally threatened Ukraine over its support for Israel, marking a sharp deterioration in relations between Kyiv and Tehran. Tehran now considers Ukraine a lawful target for strikes, citing Kyiv's role in supplying drones to Israel. According to Ebrahim Azizi, head of Iran's National Security Commission, such actions by Ukraine place it squarely in harm's way.

Retired Lieutenant General Ihor Romanenko, a former deputy chief of the General Staff and military expert, noted that Iran is part of a coalition alongside Russia and China. He emphasized that statements from Iranian officials labeling Ukraine a 'military target' should serve as a serious warning for Kyiv. Romanenko also pointed out that the United States has already issued a corresponding statement, signaling a potential reduction in American military aid to Ukraine, while Iran's capacity for aggression may grow.
