According to TSN.ua: An Iranian drone struck a skyscraper in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, overnight, igniting a minor fire. Emergency services quickly extinguished the blaze, and authorities report no injuries. The building was evacuated as a precaution following the attack. This event is part of a concerning pattern of drone incursions in the region, which has seen increased tensions.
The incident occurred near the Dubai Creek Harbour, approximately eight kilometers from Dubai International Airport. Just prior to this event, two other Iranian drones had targeted Dubai, with one crashing near the international airport. Those earlier attacks resulted in injuries to four foreign nationals:
- Two Ghanaians with minor injuries;
- One Bangladeshi national with minor injuries;
- One Indian citizen with moderate injuries.
Local authorities have the situation under control and continue to monitor developments.
