Kyivstar Launches New Roaming Bonus Plan with Calls from 1 UAH and Data from 10 Kopiykas.
Kyivstar Introduces New Bonus Package
According to TSN.ua: Kyivstar has launched a new bonus package for its subscribers, offering special rates for calls and data while roaming abroad. This initiative comes ahead of a significant regulatory change: starting January 1, 2026, Ukraine will join the European Union's common roaming area, which will allow Ukrainians to use mobile services in EU countries under more favorable terms.
Subscribers will receive 250 bonuses, where 1 bonus equals 1 Ukrainian Hryvnia (UAH). These bonuses are valid for 30 days. Within this package, calls to Ukrainian numbers and numbers in the host country, as well as all incoming calls, will cost from 1 UAH per minute. Mobile internet is also available at a competitive price, starting from 0.10 UAH per megabyte.
Expanded Roaming Access
Oleksandr Komarov, a company representative, stated: 'It is important for us that Kyivstar subscribers have access to communication regardless of where they are.'
The 'Roam Like at Home' service now covers 32 countries worldwide, making international connectivity more accessible for Ukrainian subscribers. For frequent travelers, this move significantly reduces the cost and complexity of staying connected abroad.
The introduction of these new bonuses and tariffs underscores Kyivstar's effort to adapt its services in anticipation of Ukraine's integration into the EU's single roaming zone. This is expected not only to improve connectivity for Ukrainians abroad but also to enhance the company's competitiveness in the mobile market. As seamless roaming becomes increasingly vital for travelers, such initiatives can substantially improve user experience and brand loyalty.
