Klitschko urged Kyiv residents to leave: what alternatives are offered to people without heat.
Call for temporary departure
According to Novyny.live: Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko urged residents of the capital to temporarily leave due to problems with heating and electricity. In this regard, MP Oksana Savchuk spoke about alternatives for Kyivans in case of heating failures, particularly the proposal for temporary accommodations.
Savchuk noted that if there is information that some buildings cannot be repaired within a week or two, it is necessary to offer people alternatives. She emphasized the importance of ensuring comfortable conditions for the population in the face of severe frosts.
'If there is data showing that, for example, some buildings cannot be repaired within a week or two, we understand, large frosts, two weeks, then these people need to be offered some alternatives,' Oksana Savchuk
At the same time, she clarified that the Kyiv City Military Administration (KCMA) has not made a decision on evacuation. 'Evacuation is when we have to take away large microdistricts,' the MP emphasized. She also pointed out that currently very powerful generators are lacking that could start the heating system.
Possible alternatives
Thus, Kyivans are encouraged to consider the possibility of temporary departure and alternative accommodation options due to issues with heating and electricity.
In the current situation, it is important for the authorities to respond quickly to the needs of the population and provide the necessary living conditions during the winter period. Problems with heating and electricity supply can significantly impact the quality of life of the capital's residents, so measures should be taken to resolve them. Moreover, recommendations for temporary departure can be an important solution for those who find themselves in difficult conditions. The further development of the situation will require coordinated actions from local authorities and relevant services.
