Ukraine Eases Curfew Rules in Areas Hit by Energy Emergencies.
Curfew Restrictions Relaxed in Ukrainian Energy Emergency Zones
According to TSN.ua: Ukrainian authorities are relaxing curfew rules in regions experiencing an energy emergency. Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko announced the new measures, which will allow citizens to be on the streets and in public places without special permits. This decision aims to ease the burden on residents in areas suffering from severe energy problems. These ongoing energy challenges are a direct consequence of Russia's targeted attacks on civilian infrastructure.
In the designated zones, private vehicles will also be permitted to move freely. The Commission on Technogenic and Environmental Safety and Emergencies (TEB and NS) is tasked with compiling a specific list of territories where the new rules will apply. Vice Prime Minister Oleksii Kuleba emphasized that, despite the easing, the curfew itself will not be canceled.

Svyrydenko also noted that such locations must have heating, autonomous power supply, and stable communication links. This new provision is intended to support citizens under difficult conditions while ensuring their safety.
The introduction of curfew relaxations in energy emergency zones is a significant step to improve living conditions for residents facing severe energy shortages. The government is attempting to balance security concerns with the need to provide basic comfort for citizens during a challenging period. This move also underscores the critical importance of stabilizing the country's energy system and supporting the population during the ongoing crisis.
