Four Dead After Massive Attack on Kyiv Region; 460 Aerial Targets Intercepted.
Air Raid Alerts Sound Across Ukraine
According to TSN.ua: On March 14, Ukraine issued widespread air raid warnings due to the threat of ballistic weapons. In the night leading up to that day, Russian forces launched a large-scale combined missile and drone assault targeting Kyiv and the surrounding region, resulting in four fatalities. As of 1:03 PM local time, alerts remained active across 11 oblasts, including:
- Sumy
- Kharkiv
- Poltava
- Chernihiv
- Cherkasy
- Dnipropetrovsk
- Kirovohrad
- Zaporizhzhia
- Donetsk
- Luhansk
- Kyiv Oblast and the city of Kyiv
Ukrainian defenses tracked a total of 498 incoming aerial threats, successfully neutralizing 460 of them. The downed targets included 58 missiles and 402 drones of various types. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that the enemy’s primary objective was the energy infrastructure of the Kyiv region.

As a direct consequence of these attacks, several regions have switched to emergency power outages, adding further hardship for civilians.
