Mykolaiv region completed the construction of fortifications.

In the Mykolaiv region, the tasks of building fortification structures were fully completed. This was reported by the press service of the Mykolaiv OVA.

"The task of building fortification structures has been completed by 100%," said Valentyn Haydarzhi, Deputy Head of Mykolaiv OVA, during a meeting with First Deputy Minister of Defense Ivan Havryliuk.

As the official noted, Mykolaiv region was the first to submit the fortification documents package for approval. Currently, contractors who were engaged in the construction of fortifications are being checked for integrity.

Recall that the process of constructing new defense systems on the front line began in December 2023, as the Armed Forces of Ukraine were previously conducting offensive actions.

Earlier, the Commander of the Support Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine explained how the fortifications are being built.

By the way, the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Oleh Synehubov, initiated an additional inspection of defensive structures in the region.

An independent inspection will be carried out by the National Research Center "Bokarius Institute of Forensic Examinations". Specialists will check the quality of the work, its volume and the cost of materials, including whether the prices were market-based. Such an independent examination will cover all 200 fortifications on the third line of defense, construction of which is overseen by the RSA.
