The airspace of Moldova was closed due to drones: what is happening.
According to ТСН: Against the backdrop of a combined attack by Russia on Ukraine, drones were spotted in the airspace of Moldova. The border police confirmed information about their flight in the northern part of the country.
In connection with this, the airspace of the Republic of Moldova was initially closed and then reopened, except for the northern region. The area where drones could fly is currently being checked, and so far no objects have been found that pose a threat to citizens.
The Moldovan authorities assure that they continue to monitor the situation and recommend adhering to official safety guidelines in the region.
It is reminded that Russia launched an air attack on Ukraine, with Kyiv bearing the brunt of the assault. According to the latest data, two people died as a result of the attack, and 15 were injured.
The situation in the region remains tense, and the Moldovan authorities are actively responding to events in neighboring Ukraine. The continuation of possible attacks may significantly affect the security of the entire regional defense system.
