The Ministry of Internal Affairs is actively engaged in the search for missing persons
According to inkorr.com: On the day dedicated to missing persons, Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko emphasized that finding each person is an extremely important task. He noted that this causes great pain to families and poses a serious challenge for the state. The coordination of search activities is carried out by the Department for Persons Missing Under Special Circumstances, headed by Authorized Representative Artur Dobroserdov.

During the first half of 2025, more than 8.5 thousand applications were submitted through the hotline '1698' and the service 'Single Window for Citizens', about 36.5 thousand calls were recorded, and more than 2.5 thousand personal consultations were conducted. The Minister stated that an important step was the digital improvement of processes, allowing families to receive online extracts from the Unified Register of Missing Persons.
Ihor Klymenko emphasized that each appeal is carefully processed, and families receive comprehensive support. The Ministry of Internal Affairs continues to improve search processes to provide even more effective and prompt assistance.
