Russian military attack
During the night of April 2, Russian forces launched an attack on Ukraine using Shahed drones. The drones were moving toward Poltava, Dykanka, Kharkiv, and Synelnykove in the Dnipropetrovsk region. Throughout the night and into the morning, occupiers struck the Kyiv district of Kharkiv five times with drones, sparking multiple fires, including vehicles catching fire. As of now, no reports of casualties or injuries have been received.
This attack is part of an ongoing campaign by Russian forces aimed at destabilizing Ukraine and increasing pressure on civilians. The use of Shahed drones highlights the continued role of unmanned aerial vehicle technology in this conflict. The situation in Ukraine remains tense, and residents are advised to follow safety measures, particularly staying in shelters during air raid alerts.
