According to TSN.ua: A 33-year-old man stabbed a police officer and a representative of the Territorial Recruitment Center (TRC) in Mykolaiv on March 17, 2023, during a routine document check. The assault occurred while the law enforcement officials were carrying out their duties, leaving both victims hospitalized.
The suspect was detained under Article 208 of Ukraine's Criminal Procedure Code. Investigators recovered the knife used in the attack as evidence. Authorities have charged him under Article 348 of the Ukrainian Criminal Code, which covers attempts on the life of a law enforcement officer.

Under current law, the detainee faces between 9 and 15 years in prison or a life sentence. He remains in custody as the investigation continues.
