According to ТСН: The local authorities in Kryvyi Rih confirmed the death of an elderly woman as a result of the rocket attack. 23 individuals have been injured, some of them are in critical condition. At the same time as the rescue operation, recovery of important infrastructure continues.

This was reported by the head of the city's defense council, Oleksandr Vilkul.

As a result of the attack, a 77-year-old woman has died, and the number of injured has risen to 23. Doctors inform of a difficult situation in the hospitals: one man is in extremely serious condition, and another victim is in serious condition. Medical staff are fighting for their lives.

Energy supply: current situation

Despite significant damage to energy facilities, repair crews have made substantial progress in restoring electricity supply. 25,390 subscribers have already been reconnected.

As of 23:00 on January 8, electricity has been restored to 83,474 households, however, 77,526 consumers still remain without power. Emergency restoration work continues without interruption until power is restored in all areas.

A help headquarters is functioning in the city, which has switched to round-the-clock operation. Services are coordinating support for residents whose homes have been damaged, providing building materials such as film, slabs, and tarpaulin for urgent closure of damages.

Experts are also accepting applications for material assistance from the city budget.

As a reminder, as of the evening of January 8, as a result of a rocket and drone attack by the Russian army on Kryvyi Rih in Dnipropetrovsk region, 29 apartment buildings were damaged.

The situation in Kryvyi Rih remains complicated. Local residents continue to experience the aftermath of the attack, and authorities are working on restoring infrastructure and providing necessary support to those affected. All services are trying to restore comfortable conditions for residents as quickly as possible, as winter brings additional challenges.
