According to ТСН: Ukrainian host Nikita Dobrynin shared his opinion on the translation of old Russian-language songs into Ukrainian. The showman notes that he is surprised by the choice of artists who go this route. He is convinced that it is better to create new content. If an artist was able to write a hit in Russian before, then there should be no difficulties in creating a successful song in Ukrainian. Dobrynin emphasizes the importance of completely eliminating Russian content in Ukraine and filling this space with new works that have different sounds and meanings.

“Covering old songs (should be banned for the Ukrainian show business – ed. note). For me, honestly, it’s cringe when some artists cover Russian songs in Ukrainian. It seems strange to me. Can’t you create a new hit? You used to create them. It’s better to generate some new product and not copy Russian content,” the host cut in.

Moreover, Nikita Dobrynin clearly expressed himself about his ex-wife's fiancé, blogger Dasha Kvitkova, whom he knows. It’s about football player Volodymyr Brazhko.

Nikita Dobrynin's statement raises an important topic regarding the development of Ukrainian musical content. In the current reality, where cultural identity and language take on special significance, his comment calls on artists to embrace a creative approach and independence in creating new works. By pursuing originality, Ukrainian musicians can not only fill the created void but also create new hits that can resonate with listeners’ hearts.
