According to TSN.ua: A video released on February 27 showcased the launch of Ukraine's new FP-7 ballistic missile, developed by the company Fire Point. The footage detailed the missile's technical specifications and indicated a potential timeline for its mass production.

The FP-7 missile has the following characteristics:

• Flight range: 200 km
• Warhead weight: 150 kg
• Maximum speed: 1500 m/s (5400 km/h)
• Maximum flight altitude: up to 65 km
• Total flight time: 250 seconds
• Claimed deviation from target: 14 meters

According to the information, mass production of the FP-7 could begin in May 2026, provided funding is secured.

Denis Shtilerman noted: 'If the state provides the necessary funding and orders, mass production of these missiles—on a scale of hundreds of units per month—could realistically be launched as early as May 2026.'

Advancing Ukrainian Missile Technology

Fire Point is also developing a new missile model, the FP-9, which is designed to carry an 800-850 kg warhead over a range of 800-850 km. The FP-9's codification is announced for summer 2026. The company's earlier FP-5 'Flamingo' rocket has already proven effective, having struck designated targets within the Russian Federation.

The successful test of the FP-7 ballistic missile marks a significant step in strengthening Ukraine's defense capabilities amid current military challenges.
