New Round of Trilateral Talks to be Held in Ukraine

According to TSN.ua: A new round of trilateral discussions aimed at ending the war is scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday of this week in Ukraine. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has held a meeting with his negotiation team, where the framework and objectives for the upcoming talks were finalized. These high-level diplomatic efforts are part of Ukraine's ongoing strategy to secure a durable peace.

Composition of the Negotiation Team

The Ukrainian negotiation group will include the following members:

  • Rustem Umerov
  • Kyrylo Budanov
  • Sergiy Kyslytsya
  • Andriy Gnatov
  • Oleksandr Bevz
  • David Arakhamia

During the meeting, Zelenskyy stated that a bilateral security guarantees agreement between Ukraine and the United States is now complete.

“We consider the bilateral document on security guarantees with the United States to be ready, and we expect further substantive work on documents concerning recovery and economic development,” said Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

A subsequent round of trilateral negotiations is planned for February 4th and 5th in Abu Dhabi. However, the participation of an American delegation in talks involving Ukrainian and Russian representatives remains uncertain. Zelenskyy stressed the urgency of concluding the conflict, stating:

“The war must be ended,” said Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

These developments highlight Ukraine's continued push for a peaceful resolution to the conflict and for bolstering international support on matters of security and economic recovery. The upcoming high-level meetings could prove pivotal in shaping the future direction of negotiations and ensuring regional stability.
