Russia struck a hospital in Obolon: one dead and several injured.

According to ТСН: In the Obolon district of Kyiv, one person was killed during the shelling of a medical facility, while several others were evacuated by patrol officers and rescuers.

Actions of law enforcement

Alexey Biloshytsky, Deputy Head of the Patrol Police Department of Ukraine, reported that patrol officers, along with other units of the National Police, were among the first on the scene.

“Together with the units of the State Emergency Service, we evacuated people from the damaged building, escorted patients and staff to safe places, handed over the injured to medical personnel, and ensured unobstructed passage for emergency vehicles,”

Unfortunately, one person died as a result of the shelling.

Consequences of the attack

It was previously reported that on the night of January 5, Kyiv was subjected to a missile attack when Russia used ballistic missiles and Shahed kamikaze drones, hitting a private clinic in Obolon. As a result of the strike, one patient died, and several others were injured.

Law enforcement agencies and the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine published photographs of the consequences of this attack on the medical facility.

This tragedy underscores the ongoing threat to the civilian population in Ukraine, as medical institutions are increasingly becoming targets for attacks. The situation remains tense, and law enforcement continues to take measures to ensure the safety of the population during military operations.
