Up to 48,000 UAH: Salaries for Military and Civilian Staff at Ukraine's Territorial Recruitment Centers.
Pay Scales for Military and Civilian Personnel at TCCs
According to TSN.ua: This article examines the salaries of both military and civilian specialists working at Territorial Recruitment Centers (TCCs) and the factors that determine their compensation. The TCC workforce consists of military personnel, civil servants, and civilian employees, each with distinct pay levels. Understanding these figures is relevant given the centers' role in supporting Ukraine's defense efforts.
Salary Ranges
Officers earn between 23,689 and 48,359 UAH per month, while sergeants receive from 20,590 to 30,180 UAH. Enlisted personnel have salaries ranging from 20,183 to 26,112 UAH. As for civilian workers, their monthly pay varies from 7,800 to 25,502 UAH.
- Chief specialist: 22,025 to 25,358 UAH.
- Lead specialist: 22,113 to 24,375 UAH.
- Specialist: 21,634 to 24,166 UAH.
Compensation for TCC staff depends on service conditions. In areas of active combat, pay equals 100% of the base salary, whereas in zones with potential hostilities, it is 50% of the base salary.
Notably, a former head of the TCC in Zakarpattia declared 240,000 in foreign currency and four apartments, while an ex-director of the Lviv TCC concealed assets worth 8 million UAH. These cases raise questions about financial transparency in TCC management and fairness in employee pay.
The salary data for TCC military and civilian staff highlights the importance of financial support in the context of Ukraine's defense capabilities. Since pay is heavily influenced by service conditions, this can affect motivation and readiness among personnel. At the same time, the disclosure of former TCC leaders' declarations underscores the need for greater transparency in financial management—a crucial factor for public trust in state institutions responsible for national security.
