A man died in Volyn on an ATV: police named the cause of the accident.

According to ТСН: A tragedy occurred in Volyn: a man died while riding an ATV, failing to consider the road situation and sliding into a ditch.

The regional police reported this.

“A resident of Lutsk, born in 1979, sat behind the wheel of an ATV that was not registered properly. While driving, he did not choose a safe speed, did not consider the road situation, and slid into a ditch and overturned. As a result of the accident, the man died,”

- the message states.

Investigators are currently examining the circumstances of the accident as part of proceedings under part 2 of article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

This tragic event highlights the importance of adhering to traffic rules, especially when driving powerful vehicles such as ATVs. The incident has raised concerns among local residents, who are calling for increased enforcement of road rules to prevent similar cases in the future.
