According to ТСН: Yesterday afternoon and last night, Russian military attacked civilian and critical infrastructure in Chernihiv with drones. Fortunately, there were no casualties, but there were hits.

The head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, Vyacheslav Chaus, reported that Russian 'Geraniums' struck an energy facility, causing half of the city to be left without electricity.

The drone also hit a nine-story building. Damaged were apartment buildings and private homes, as well as cars. According to preliminary information, no one was injured.

Last night, Russian drones attacked two more facilities in Chernihiv. An outbuilding and two cars caught fire. Windows were damaged in a five-story building and a school, and at another location, there was a hit at a kindergarten.

As previously reported, a few days ago, Russia destroyed a family farm in Chernihiv region with drones. The family had developed it over 20 years — machinery burned and livestock perished. Family members barely escaped as they tried to save the animals.

In light of these events, it is important to note that drone attacks on civilian infrastructure in Ukraine remain a serious problem. Authorities continue to take measures to protect residents and restore damaged infrastructure. These events underscore the alarming situation in which the region finds itself and the need for international support.
