Air raid alert across Ukraine: the reason is the takeoff of three MiG-31K.
According to ТСН: On the evening of January 4, an air raid alert was declared across Ukraine due to the takeoff of the MiG-31K fighter from Russia.
“Attention. All of Ukraine is under missile danger. MiG-31K takeoff has been recorded,” said the Ukrainian Air Force.
As of 19:20, all regions of Ukraine received the alert signal.
According to monitoring chats, three MiG aircraft are already in the air.
“Western Ukraine and Kyiv — react,” adds another monitoring public.
It should be noted that the air raid alert related to the takeoff of the MiG indicates a possible threat of launching Kh-47M2 Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles. The MiG-31K fighter is a carrier of Kh-47 Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles. Although these aircraft often conduct training flights, alerts are issued due to their ability to strike targets at distances of up to 2000 kilometers.
UPD
At 19:41, the Air Force canceled the alert regarding the MiG.
Recall that on the night of January 3, a prolonged alert was also declared in Kyiv and several regions of Ukraine due to the threat of the use of ballistic weapons.
The situation with air raid alerts against the backdrop of increased military activity remains tense. Operational reports from the Ukrainian Air Force continue to inform the public about possible threats, as the security of the country remains a priority. It is important to monitor messages from official authorities and adhere to safety measures.
