According to TSN.ua: Filaret, the honorary Patriarch of Kyiv and All Rus'-Ukraine, passed away on March 20, 2023, at the age of 97. He had been receiving treatment at the Feofaniya medical facility since being admitted on March 9. His funeral may take place on March 22, 2023.
According to Epiphanius, Filaret's final days were marked by a worsening of chronic illnesses, which ultimately led to his death. Boris Tabachek stated that the Holy Synod will decide on the details of the farewell ceremony, with a final decision expected by 6:00 PM on March 20.
