Interpipe supports military personnel from mobilization to employment: how the patronage service works.
According to ТСН: Currently, 1,136 Interpipe employees serve in the army, and 200 veterans work at the company's plants in Dnipro, Nikopol, and Samara. During mobilization and until their return home, the corporate Patronage Service supports not only military personnel but also their families. It provides equipment, ammunition, uniforms, and helps with medical treatment, rehabilitation, and psychological recovery. One of the key areas is the reintegration of veterans, which includes finding decent jobs, particularly in manufacturing.
Reintegration of veterans
– We start the reintegration of veterans on the first day of their service, not after their return. Defenders value actions, not words. It is the specific and timely support during service that creates the foundation of genuine trust. Four out of five of our military personnel return to us after demobilization, and together we search for ways to ease their adaptation and build life in the rear. Taking into account the realities of the production process and life in a frontline region, this is always targeted meticulous work, said Lyudmila Novak, the director of communications and curator of Interpipe's Patronage Service.
Individual support
Since 2014, every military personnel and veteran of Interpipe has been accompanied by an individual coordinator. At the beginning of the full-scale invasion, this activity was separated into a distinct Patronage Service. Coordinators maintain contact with military personnel throughout their service, during treatment and rehabilitation, and after demobilization continue to keep in touch with families, caring for the loved ones of heroes in case of tragic events. Some coordinators are veterans.
High evaluation of initiatives
This year’s competition was record-breaking: over 70 projects competed in 15 nominations. In such a powerful environment, Interpipe's initiatives received the highest ratings from the jury.
The company’s projects not only demonstrate their commitment to supporting the military but also increasingly gain recognition at the national level. Initiatives aimed at adapting veterans to peaceful life are important for the country’s social stability and confirm the role of business in supporting society during difficult times.
