Russia has launched a missile strike on Uman: there are injured children.
According to ТСН: The Russian armed forces have carried out a missile strike on the city of Uman in the Cherkasy region. The National Police reported on the consequences of this attack.
“This afternoon, the Russians hit a residential area of the city with a missile. There are destructions. Currently, six injured people are known, including two children.”
At the scene, criminal police investigation teams, forensic technicians, explosives experts, and emergency services from the State Emergency Service are working. The head of the Cherkasy region, Ihor Taburetz, confirmed the missile strike on Uman.
Destruction of residential infrastructure has also been noted. According to the Air Forces, Russia used a ballistic missile and fired 99 drones in a large-scale attack, of which Ukrainian air defense shot down 73 UAVs.
As a result of the nighttime massive drone attack on the Odessa region, two ships and the energy and port infrastructure in Odessa and Izmail were damaged, where there were fires. In the Mykolayiv district, electricity outages occurred due to the attacks of “Molnia” drones.
Uman, like many other cities in Ukraine, has once again become a target due to Russia's military aggression. This strike underscores the threat the country faces and the need to maintain defense readiness.
