Russian Missile Strike on Poltava: Death Toll Rises to 51.
As a result of the Russian missile strike on Poltava, 49 people died and 219 were injured, reported Defense Ministry spokesman Dmytro Lazutkin.
First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska expressed her condolences to the families of the dead and injured. She wrote in her social media post that this is a staggering tragedy for all of Ukraine. Zelenska also noted that Russia is taking Ukrainian lives.

UPDATED at 19:23. The total number of deaths from the Russian Federation's attack on Poltava is 51, and more than 200 people are injured. This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General. A pre-trial investigation has also begun.
It is currently known that Russian troops launched a missile strike on an educational institution in Poltava, and many people were trapped under the rubble. 25 people were rescued, and 11 of them were unblocked. The elimination of the consequences of the attack continues. The strike was accompanied by powerful columns of smoke, as well as damage to residential buildings in the city. The operational headquarters is dealing with the aftermath of the attack and is asking for blood donors.
