In Wyszogrod, a cluster drone was neutralized on the roof of a block: operation details.
According to ТСН: In Wyszogrod, in the Kyiv region, rescuers from the State Emergency Service conducted a complicated demining operation after a drone attack. One of the Russian unmanned aerial vehicles hit the roof of an apartment block but did not explode. As a result of the incident, a damaged drone, its explosive cargo, and 21 cluster munitions remained on the roof. Another dangerous element landed in the courtyard of the residential complex.
The danger was significant: the cluster munitions had self-destruct mechanisms and could explode at any moment. To ensure the safety of residents, a fence was quickly erected around the building, and residents on the upper floors were evacuated.
Technical employment
To carry out the operation, robotic systems, drones, and a multifunctional sapper robot were used. The State Emergency Service operators worked in tandem: the drones monitored the situation while the robot carefully collected all explosive materials into a special container on the roof. The container was then lifted with a crane and loaded onto an explosives vehicle.
All munitions were transported to a special training ground, where they were destroyed by a controlled explosion.
We remind you that as a result of the attack by enemy drones on the night of November 29 to 30 in Wyszogrod, one person was killed. Another 19 people were injured, including four children. It later turned out that Wyszogrod was attacked by “Shaheds” loaded with cluster munitions.
This situation underscores the complicated security situation in Ukraine, where peaceful communities continue to suffer from warfare. The State Emergency Service rescuers demonstrate high professionalism in dealing with the consequences of such attacks, ensuring the safety of the population and preventing further tragedies.
